Process

We go deep. I believe that underneath our goals and motivations lies a deeper desire to connect to our individual purpose and calling. The coaching process relies on curiosity, creativity, and empathy paired with an arsenal of tools derived from leadership coaching, positive psychology, and building a personal ‘brand’. I use these tools to connect our clients to the underlying motivations of their aspirations. This process results in richer and longer-lasting outcomes; while empowering our clients with new resources for their personal and professional journeys.

Accountability

Having a vision and goal is inspiring. The challenge is following through—turning your dreams into reality. Goals are significantly more likely to happen when you have an accountability partner. Working with a coach gives you an accountability partner who will hold you to what you say you want to do, and make sure you’re taking the steps to get you to your personal or professional goal.

History of Coaching

What is typically thought of as Executive Coaching, Leadership Coaching, or Life Coaching was originally developed in the 1980s and is built on the GROW model of personal development—a process where a coach supports clients through the journey of clarifying the Goals, Reality, possible Options, and Willpower needed to achieve desired outcomes. Over the last 40 years, the practice has evolved. Coaching styles are no longer singular. I match a client’s needs to the right strategies and design a plan that works for the individual.

I apply a holistic approach to coaching. I use the foundations of the GROW methodology but have evolved it to account for the transformational aspects of each client’s individual journey. I believe that a deep understanding of each client is crucial to uncovering the real motivations behind each goal and vision. By connecting to the underlying, deeper purpose of your intention, we’ll be able to co-create a plan and action steps that will accelerate your journey to get from a place of inspired action to reality.
